[Video below.] A 12-year-old boy tripped in a Taiwanese art museum Tuesday and accidentally punched a hole in a painting worth $1.5 million.
The painting, “Flowers” by Italian artist Paolo Porpora, is more than 300 years old.
The curator of the exhibition asked that the boy not be punished for the incident and a restoration specialist is already planning to help fix it.
