Theresa May has vowed that “hatred and evil” of the kind seen in the attack on a north London mosque, which killed one and injured eight last night, will never succeed. May said that the attack on Muslims was “every bit as insidious and destructive to our values and our way of life” as the recent string of terror attacks apparently motivated by Islamist extremism.

She added: “Today we come together, as we have done before, to condemn this act and to state once again that hatred and evil of this kind will never succeed.”

Labour leader and local MP Jeremy Corbyn spent much of the early morning at Muslim Welfare House, where the attack took place. He said: “I see it this is a terror on the streets … in the communities … We have to all reach out and feel their pain and their stress.”

Sadiq Khan, London’s first Muslim mayor, declared “terrorism is terrorism” as he condemned the attack.

Mr Khan told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “This is a truly horrific terrorist attack on our city that deliberately targeted innocent Londoners.”

He added: “Terrorism is terrorism whether it’s Islamist inspired, or inspired by others.

“London has been through an extremely difficult time, it’s been a tough few weeks but I’m so confident that we’re going to come through this. We’ll be strong, we’ll stay strong. We will not allow these people to divide us.”

  1. The Muslim mayor is a lot at fault. He allows Muslim terrorism to continue, what does he expect? People should just sit and accept their attacks?

  2. Why don’t they bemoan the death of the terrorist? Oh: the “terrorist” wasn’t an Arab or some who was “Islamic.” So they call him a terrorist immediately and cry for his victims. If the victim was Jewish, BBC reported the death of the terrorist, but not his or her terrrorist act.

Terrorism is terrorism. Unless the victim is a Jew.

  3. If this was the other way around, the media & officials would say: ” Lets not jump to conclusions, wait until police conduct their investigation, or the guy goes to trial and is sentenced by a judge if he is guilty… ”
No. Since the victims are muslim, the guy gets beaten in the street, only ‘saved’ by the imam (who is now the hero) and the press cry about the muslim hatred and get police protection in London & NYC.

Just call it how it is. This not terrorism, its revenge.

  4. The chickens come home to roost for the Finsbury Mosque. Anybody who knows a thing about this mosque knows that is was and is an epicentre for Islamism indoctrination and Islamic terror support.
