Brooklyn Bridge Closed Briefly Over Suspicious Package

A report of a suspicious package forced the temporary closing of the Brooklyn Bridge this morning. Police spokesman Paul Browne said the bridge was closed for over an hour shortly after 11:15 a.m. The items were found to be three empty black suitcases.
