Life, the say, is often stranger than fiction.

Indeed, it is.

Just five months after Sarah Sperling was seriously injured in the tragic Bus 402 crash that claimed the lives of six people, her chosson, Yaakov (Kobi) Kastelenitz, was hit by a bus.

Kobi was crossing the street on Sderot Golda Meir in Yerushalayim this week when he was struck by a bus.

Kobi, who has shown tremendous devotion to his kallah during the course of her recovery, sustained head and chest injuries. He is said to be in moderate condition.

His kallah, Sarah, was devastated when she heard the news.

Sarah, a 20-year-old resident of Neve Yaakov, Yerushalayim, was released from the hospital back in March and has since undergone intense rehabilitation. Six weeks before her release, she was in critical condition, with life-threatening injuries. Her release was considered a great miracle.

Sarah is a daughter of Rabbi and Mrs. Avrohom Yitzchok and Dina Sperling.

Kobi, may he have a refuah shleleimah, is a talmid of Yeshiva Kol Torah in Yerushalayim.

All are asked to daven for both Yaakov Yitzchok ben Chana and Sarah bas Dinah.

  1. Perhaps rewrite this article from a compassionate viewpoint more so than a news novelty item or bestseller novel.

  2. Refua shleima, now is a difficult moment but may soon come unbounded happiness to wipe away this all, and maybe they’ll even laugh about it.
