The California chapter of the NAACP is advising Congress to abolish the national anthem, calling the song a “racist” relic of the past.

At its October state conference meeting, the NAACP passed a resolution attacking the “Star Spangled Banner” and calling it “one of the most racist, pro-slavery, anti-black songs in the American lexicon.”

The resolution was passed as a measure of support for former NFL player Colin Kaepernick, who initiated the national anthem protest started at the beginning of the 2016 NFL football season. Read more at BREITBART.

  1. When will the middle to lower income white males start paying black folks their due reparations? This is dragging on way too long. I hope Donna Brazile becomes President in 2020 and finally makes it the law of the land.

  2. In the rockets red glare, they have blame for the rage of the air. They firmly hate G-d and they have no good faith. In the world that we live, there is always a heart to give. And the truth of the night is that our FLAG IS STILL THERE.

  3. The National Anthem mentions slavery but no mention of “blacks” being slaves – and surely not today. Avadim hayinu leFaro beMitzvrayim. Do we Jews still feel like slaves even if we’d return to Mitralyim? If the blacks in America still feel like slaves, they deserve to be slaves.

  4. If these ignorant morons bothered to read a history book, they would know that the verse that bothers them (it’s in part of the poem that isn’t sung) “the hireling and slave” refers to the British hiring mercenaries to fight for them and kidnapping US sailors to serve in the Royal Navy, which was one of the main causes of the war of 1812.
