Ben Carson has taken over Donald Trump’s lead in South Carolina for the first time, according to a new Monmouth University poll in the key early primary state.
Carson’s 28 percent polling slightly edged out Trump’s 27, with Marco Rubio in third place at 11 percent, Ted Cruz at seven percent, and Jeb Bush at seven. No other candidates in the race scored higher than two percent. Read more at Bloomberg Politics.
