Castro Makes First Public Appearance in 9 Months

Official papers and websites in Cuba ran a photo today which purportedly shows former President Fidel Castro making his first public appearance in nine months.

The photo shows Castro talking to artist Alexis Leyva at the opening of an art studio in Havana.

Castro, 87, handed over power to his brother Raul after leading Cuba for 48 years before falling dangerously ill in 2006. Read more at Fox News.
