The terrorist got away but was finally caught overnight in a joint operation between Israel Police and the IDF. He was identified as 21-year-old Saadi Ali Abu Ahmad of the al-Eizariya village, located next to Ma’ale Adumim.

Abu Ahmad admitted to the attack once he was apprehended.

Security forces shut down the town of Maale Adumim to Palestinian workers, a ban that will likely be enforced until later in the week.
