Excitement is growing in Jewish communities across Canada with the approach of Chai Lifeline Canada’s upcoming “Sing for the Children” event on March 16 starring Chazzan Yitzchak Meir Helfgot. Produced by the incomparable Sheya Mendlowitz, the special musical event will feature the symphony orchestra conducted by Dr. Mordechai Sobol accompanied by the Toronto Choral Ensemble. To top off star-studded lineup, the concert will also feature Yisroel Lamm and the Philharmonic Experience with world renowned pianist Yaron Gershovsky. The concert will take place in the prestigious Roy Thomson Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Sheya Mendlowitz, coming off of his sold out “The Event” concert at Madison Square Garden just this past week, tells Matzav.com that “Sing for the Children” will be a most unique musical presentation with the dazzling vocal abilities of Chazzan Helfgot.

This year’s concert is sponsored by CharityBids.org, an online auction platform designed specifically for non-profit fundraising. Supporters of CLC who are unable to attend the event can show their support by bidding on items on the CLC Auction website. www.chaiauctions.com
