Chareidi Accepted to Israeli Navy’s 13th Naval Commando Unit for First Time

 For the first time, a chareidi was accepted to the navy’s highly trained 13th Naval Commando unit.

The Breslever chossid will not be serving as a sailor, but as a command and control technician at the unit’s base near Haifa. He will be provided with sufficient time to daven and high standard kashrus.

Increasing numbers of chareidim are enlisting in the navy, mostly in computerization capacities.
