The city council in Charlottesville, Va., voted unanimously Tuesday to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson from Justice Park.

The 5-0 vote came just weeks after last month’s violent protests in the city, sparked in part by city officials’ plans to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

Tuesday’s vote also will expedite the relocation of the Lee statue. Read more at Fox News.

  1. More historical sites and monuments destruction to please the minority Leftovers who will never have a chance to win again as POTUS.

  2. people think destroying statues, removing all sorts of history figures will change the history of the United States they are delusional. History is history it is in books, paintings, people’s heritage, etc., etc., for one should be proud of what we achieved we fought all injustices, wars, hate, to one of the powerful nations but also in personal freedom. One has to go to another country and live there for a while and see what freedoms one gets, and come back here and thank us for our history and what we achieved in a few hundred years as comparison to the other countries that are older and less developed and will be always less developed.
