Chris Christie Says First Call After Inauguration Would Be to Netanyahu

CHRIS CHRISTIEIf he ever becomes president of the United States, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie knows who he will call first after his inauguration: the Israeli prime minister.

“It is going to be a very short conversation,” Christie said at a fundraiser at the Asbury Convention Hall in New Jersey. “I am going to say: ‘Mr. Prime Minister, there’s a new sheriff in town and help is on the way,’”

On the Iran nuclear deal, Christie said, “[Obama] said we could not have gotten a better deal. We will never know, because he didn’t have the guts to walk away from that table. A strong leader understands that no deal is better than a bad deal. Right now, we need Congress to stand up and say no to this deal.”

  1. oh please… All these politicians make these big pro-Israel remarks when campaigning to get the Jewish vote, then, as soon as they’re in office, they throw Israel under the bus…
