CHRIS CHRISTIEIf he ever becomes president of the United States, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie knows who he will call first after his inauguration: the Israeli prime minister.

“It is going to be a very short conversation,” Christie said at a fundraiser at the Asbury Convention Hall in New Jersey. “I am going to say: ‘Mr. Prime Minister, there’s a new sheriff in town and help is on the way,’”

On the Iran nuclear deal, Christie said, “[Obama] said we could not have gotten a better deal. We will never know, because he didn’t have the guts to walk away from that table. A strong leader understands that no deal is better than a bad deal. Right now, we need Congress to stand up and say no to this deal.”
