In an interview with the Washington Post, Christie said he “couldn’t care less” about the ads, which slam Christie for aligning too closely with President Barack Obama gun control, healthcare and Common Core education standards.
“I just don’t think Marco Rubio’s going to be able to slime his way to the White House,” Christie told the Post. “He wants to put out a whole bunch of negative ads? Go ahead. I hope that he will acknowledge at some point that I couldn’t care less.”
The ads are airing in New Hampshire, where Republican presidential candidates are battling for positioning before the primaries on Feb. 9. Read more at the Washington Post.
