Christie, Paul Campaigns Gripe About Their Debate Greenrooms

cnbc debate gopBefore Wednesday evening’s Republican presidential debate on CNBC, the campaigns were given a walkthrough of the facilities, including their respective greenrooms.

According to Politico, the Rand Paul and Chris Christie campaigns expressed dissatisfaction with their rooms, eventually forcing the Republican National Committee to find better accommodations.

In a series of tweets, Paul adviser Chris LaCivita demonstrated that while Donald Trump was given a spacious theater-like room with flat-screen televisions, and Carly Fiorina’s greenroom had a Jacuzzi, the Paul team was relegated to a “bathroom”-like space.

Christie’s campaign complained of the same problem. “This is ridiculous,” a staffer complained. “We’re in a restroom.” Read more at Politico.
