The CIA in a statement pushed back against a New York Times report that U.S. spies paid $100,000 to a Russian who said he could provide them with previously stolen hacking tools from the National Security Agency (NSA). The repoprt also claimed the Russian offered to provide damaging information about President Trump, which the CIA said it didn’t want, according to the Times.
“The fictional story that CIA was bilked out of $100,000 is patently false,” the spy agency said in a statement reported by AFP.
“The people swindled here were James Risen and Matt Rosenberg,” the CIA added, referring to The Intercept and New York Times reporters, respectively, who wrote the stories.

Although mainstream media is trying to deny CIA’s corruption, the CIA and FBI are world known liars, who says they even denied paying it? Might have been mainstream media ashamed and made up the denial for them. Whatever it is, most Americans believe that the CIA Mafia had very likely paid $100,000 as they’ve lost their credibility with their dishonesty and corruptions. If they want to prove it false they should get a special counsel who should at the same time search for the missing trillion dollars.
According to the NYT, a Russian sold phony secrets on Trump to the U.S. Asking price was $10 million, brought down to $1 million to be paid over time.
The CIA transported the cash to the CIA’s station in Berlin to complete the transaction.
I rather doubt Iran would risk retaliation against their oil fields, by letting their Leb bud try to. Is this “IDF” bragadura or stupidity?
