otzar-hatorahClasses resumed today at the yeshiva in south-west France where a rabbi and three children were shot dead by an Islamist gunman last week.

A manager at Ozar Hatorah school in Toulouse  confirmed by telephone that the school had reopened.

“It’s back to normal as of today,” he said.

“We’re trying to preserve the serenity of the school in as far as we can,” he added.

Ozar Hatorah secondary school was the scene of the worst terrorist attack in France since 1995 when Toulouse-born gunman Mohamed Merah, who was killed Thursday in a shootout with police, opened fire on children outside the school as they gathered for class.

A number of traumatized children are still receiving psychological care.

On Sunday, around 6,000 people took part in a silent march in Toulouse to commemorate all seven victims of Merah’s attacks, including three soldiers. The demonstrators laid white roses outside the school.
