Once again, Yeshiva Darchei Torah is presenting a community-wide speaking program on Tisha B’Av for Far Rockaway and the Five Towns to help make Tisha B’Av more meaningful. Renowned talmidei chachomim and speakers will be offering inspiring explanations of the Kinnos and their messages during these troubling, sometimes frightening times.
Tomorrow morning, Shacharis will begin at 8:45 a.m., followed by Kinnos and addresses. Minchah will begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. The program will feature (not necessarily in this order) Rav Shlomo Avigdor Altusky, rosh yeshiva of Beis Medrash Heichel Dovid; Rav Naftali Jaeger, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Sh’or Yoshuv; Rav Mordechai Kamenetsky, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Toras Chaim of South Shore; Rav Paysach J. Krohn, renowned author, lecturer and mohel; and Rav Zevi Trenk, menahel of Mesivta Chaim Shlomo.
The Community Tisha B’Av Program for Far Rockaway and the Five Towns will take place at Mesivta Chaim Shlomo, located at 211 Beach 17th Street, off Seagirt Boulevard in Far Rockaway. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own Kinnos.

Im sure that it will be very meaningful because you can not get any better than this.
It is meaningful, but with all due respect, I think the main focus of Tisha B’av is that it could and should be much better than this- that we should be serving Hashem in the Bais Hamikdash together with love.
