House Republicans on Tuesday pulled a bill that would have given billions in emergency relief to Hurricane Sandy victims, according to New York lawmakers.
The bill was pulled by Speaker John Boehner, according to New York Republican Peter King, who called the decision “almost indefensible.”
The Senate approved the $60.4 billion measure for Hurricane Sandy relief on Friday, and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor had reportedly insisted on Tuesday that the bill would reach the House floor. Read more at the Associated Press.

Did they or are they angry over the billions in pork Which means we don’t get 60billion any way.
But tomorrow King will be voting to re-elect Boehner as speaker.
The bill will be coming up again shortly. No cause for panic.

P.S. I was until very recently a die hard conservative. If conservatives don’t understand that the Federal gov’t is there for major out of ordinary disasters, they are wrong.
