Conservative Party Endorses Simcha Felder for State Senate

simchafelderToday, the Kings County Conservative Committee announced its endorsement of Simcha Felder for the open State Senate seat from Brooklyn’s 17th district. Calling Felder “a true conservative,” the Conservative Party leadership pledged its full support for Felder’s campaign.

“The Conservative Party of Kings County is proud to endorse Simcha Felder for State Senate,” said Chairman Jerry Kassar. “Simcha is a true conservative who shares our values. We have endorsed him in other races because he has a long record of supporting lower taxes and representing the great ideals of our party,” continued Kassar. “Simcha has met with our Party’s leadership, and I know that with Mitt Romney at the top of the ticket and Simcha Felder as our candidate for Senate, we’ll have a great victory this November,” concluded Kassar.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Conservative Party,” said Felder. “I’ve run with the support of the Conservative Party before, and I’m proud to be the Conservative candidate this year. I know that the hardworking men and women of the Conservative Party won’t rest till Election Day so that our community can finally send a true conservative Senator to Albany.”

R’ Simcha is running for the open newly formed 17th Senate District that encompasses Borough Park, Flatbush, Midwood, Kensington and Sunset Park. He is running on the Democratic, Conservative and Tax Cuts Now lines. Felder is currently New York City’s Deputy Comptroller for Budget and Accounting. He served the neighborhoods of Borough Park, Kensington and Flatbush in the City Council from 2002 through 2010.

  1. The words “conservative” and “Democrat” in the same sentence is an oxymoron! When one looks at the democratic platform there is NO WAY any frum Jew could agree to be a part of that party.
