Scores of the thousands of cops attending the funeral for Officer Wenjian Liu turned their backs on Mayor Bill de Blasio, despite an order from Police Commissioner William Bratton not to do so.
It is not known how many of the cops that turned their backs were from the NYPD or out of town units.
“All of our city is heartbroken today,” de Blasio said in his speech. Liu, along with his partner Rafael Ramos were killed on December 20.
