Court Bans Uber’s Ride-Sharing Service In Israel

The Tel Aviv District Court came down with its ruling on Uber Monday, ordering the hugely successful global ride-sharing service to stop operating in its current format in Israel by Wednesday morning.

While Judge Eitan Orenstein ruled that Uber would have to halt its UberDAY and UberNIGHT ride-sharing services, it can continue with its regular taxi service, which is licensed and insured. Read more at i24NEWS.
