Lomdei Daf Hayomi worldwide concluded Maseches Middos yesterday and are beginning Maseches Niddah today.
The learners of Daf Yomi are making their way ever closer to the Siyum Hashas, which will take place, iy”H, on August 1, 2012, just a few days after Tisha B’Av.
With 2,711 pages in the Gemara, one cycle of Daf Yomi takes about 7 years, 5 months.
Daf Yomi started its current, 12th cycle on March 2, 2005.
Maseches Niddah is the final mesechta in all of Shas.
The 12th Siyum Hashas of Daf Yomi will be held at MetLife Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey.
With 92,000 seats, the recently constructed stadium is by far the largest single venue ever to host the national Torah gathering.

Anyone know the time of the Daf Yomi event in LA with Rabbi Schustel? I’ll be flying special for the Siyum.
They sould consider lowering the ticket prices. Do they really think they will sell 100,000 tickets at an average price of $150 per ticket? Who can afford these prices? Isn’t this supposed to be an event for all of klal Yisroel? The average yungerman that wants to go with 3 children and wife can not afford to pay $750 for 5 tickets. It’s not right!
There are still plenty of $36 and $54 tickets remaining.
