The learners of Daf Yomi are now making their way through the thirteenth cycle of Daf Yomi, following the Twelfth Annual Siyum Hashas of Daf Yomi, which took place on August 1 at MetLife Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey, with 92,000 people in attendance.

With 2,711 pages in the Gemara, one cycle of Daf Yomi takes about 7 years, 5 months.

  1. Can someone explain why Davian this mesechta was included in daf yomi and no other yerushalmi? I have heard Svaras but nothing concrete.thanks.
