The Bobover Rebbe, Rav Bentzion Halberstam of Boro Park, Brooklyn, recently celebrated the engagement of his daughter.
The chosson, a talmid of Rav Avrohom Yehoshua Soloveitchik’s Yeshivas Brisk in Yerushalayim, is a son of Rav Avrohom Abba Horowitz, R”M at Yeshivas Bobov in London, England.
Rav Horowitz is a cousin of his new mechutan.
The tennaim celebrating the engagement was held at the Bobover Bais Medrash on 48th Street in Boro Park.

The chosson doesn’t look like a Brisker.
אל תסתכל בקנקן
he learns like a brisker.. i no him
there are stories about the beis halevi and the divrei Chaim.
That was just to make the headline more catchy. Plenty of chasidim learn in Brisk nowadays.
Someone can learn in Brisk, but still not be/become a Brisker.
Title is misleading. It is a Chasidishe Bochur that learnt in Brisk.
Mazelt tov!
