De Blasio Guard Shot With Pellet Gun

The NYPD arrested and charged a man with assault on an officer with a “deadly weapon” after Michael Veritsky allegedly shot a pellet gun at a member of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s security detail outside his home on Sunday night.

The NYPD officer was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital after feeling pain in her back and has since been released. Read more at NBC New York.
