chuck-hagelDefense Secretary Chuck Hagel spoke on Wednesday with Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon. Hagel called for a humanitarian cease-fire that would lead to a permanent end to the fighting in Gaza.

At the same time, Hagel reiterated U.S. support for Israel’s security and its right to self-defense and said that any process to resolve the crisis in Gaza in a lasting and meaningful way must lead to the disarmament of Hamas and all terrorist groups.

  1. Going house to house shouldnt take that long. About 500,000 private houses and maybe another 100,000 of stores, schools, govt buildings.

About 40,000 soldiers but only about half are active at any time. So 20,000 and each visiting 30 houses. I know they wont be able to find everything but its a start.
