With the guidance of Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman, the Degel Hatorah faction of UTJ established a special rabbinical panel to guide public representatives and askonim in matters relevant to Yerushalayim. Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman made this decision due to the many questions of halachah and Torah hashkofah connected with Yerushalayim’s affairs on a daily basis.
Members of the panel will include rosh yeshiva of Chevron and member of the Degel Hatorah Moetzes Rav Dovid Cohen, head of the Beis Medrash Lehalachah Behisyashvus Rav Yosef Efrati, and rosh yeshivas Torah Ze’ev Rav Boruch Soloveitchik.
