Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating whether President Donald Trump’s tweets about Jeff Sessions and James Comey amounted to an obstruction of justice, The New York Times reported.

Mueller is investigating whether the president intimidated witnesses, according to the report, looking at the president’s tweets criticizing Comey, who the president fired in May 2017, as well as Sessions, whom the president has publicly blasted for recusing himself from overseeing the Russia probe

The interest in the president’s posts on Twitter is part of a broader inquiry that includes misleading statements from the White House and the dangling of possible pardons.

  1. Shouldn’t the headline read, “Conscientious Mueller Examining Trump’s Twitter Account For Obstruction Evidence”?

  2. Mueller is getting desperate, for if this all ends, who will want to hire him, especially the money he is getting for doing all of this, so he is saying I have to keep on going. No investigation, no job, no money.

    • And what about his [Mueller’s] own criminal activities?
      – The Uranium One deal where he, as well as, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Rosenstein, Weissmann, Obama, Holder, Lynch, and the Clintons received illegal cash payments?
      – And his greatest crime overseeing the institutional cover-up of the 9/11 government conspiracy to commit acts of terror, murder and destruction against the American people?

  3. But yet the destruction of the life of Billy Dale and his family by Hillary Clinton goes investigated. Mr. Dale was found INNOCENT of ALL charges and yet the Clintons are allowed to get away with the persecution of an innocent American and Mueller doesn’t say a word. No, there is no bias. Why would you even think that?

  4. Mueller is not examining the tweets. He is examining the law if they amount to obstruction.
All of Trump’s tweets are public record and will be preserved for decades as Presidential statements. Just contemplate that as you read them.

  5. Obstruction of Justice requires intent, that is, to understand not only someone’s actions, but their state of mind.

How sad that Mueller is examining the evidence (Trump’s own words).

Instead of examining Trump’s own words, he should be reading the comment section Matzav.com, who don’t rely on evidence of intent, but on mind-reading.

    • That is correct. Ever since Eric Holder unleashed the dreaded Thought Police, its the mind and unspoken opinions that matter. Words are meaningless. Just ask the Iranians.
