fat-stomachSometimes you don’t want to be ahead of schedule. A major federal study has ended two years early after it became clear that diet and weight loss do nothing to prevent heart attacks and strokes in overweight people with type 2 diabetes.

Doctors were surprised, as both previous short-term studies and common sense seem to indicate that weight loss would help prevent heart attacks in these patients. 1. Yes, but does it help with diabetes management? This article can give the impression that if you have Type II diabetes you can be as overweight as you want without hurting yourself. Not true. I know people with diabetes, and weight control is a major factor in controlling their blood sugar levels.

You ought to check with a medical doctor before running health articles like this. You could be putting your readers at risk.

  2. I don’t chap.

How can weight loss not help an overweight person. Wouldn’t losing weight stop him from being overweight?

Or are we speaking of someone who is loses weight and is now 40 lbs. overweight instead of 60 lbs.?

    Please clarify…
