Drugs, Weapons Seized in Lakewood

lakewood-policeThe Lakewood, NJ, Police Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at 189 Ridge Avenue on Motzoei Shabbosthat led to the seizure of drugs and weapons, said Deteective Lt. Joseph Isnardi. Andre Tyree Turner, 29, of Ridge Avenue was charged with possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon by a convicted person, possession of a weapon during an illegal drug offense and possession of illegal drugs in a school zone, Isnardi said.
Turner was placed in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $150,000 cash bail.The Street Crimes Unit, under Sgt. John Stillwell with Detective Robert Humeney, and Police Officer Jason Pederson seized cocaine, a .40 caliber handgun with laser sight, and $6,800 in cash during the execution of the search warrant, police said.

On Thursday, the Street Crimes Unit served another search warrant, at 89 Woodlake Manor Drive and seized marijuana and a loaded AK-47 assault rifle.

Vernon Sanders, 27, Nakeya Crank, 30, Melissa Crank, 33, and Deborah Reynolds, 28, all of Woodlake Manor Drive, were charged with possession of a weapon, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and possession of Ecstasy.
