Eating and Drinking Outside the Sukkah

One may not eat a K’beitzah (the size of an egg) of any Mezonos or Hamotzie food outside of a Sukkah. (Shulchan Aruch w/Mishnah Berurah 639:2, Piskei Tshuvos 639:8)

One who is stringent upon himself (although permitted according to halacha) to avoid even drinking out of the Sukkah (and certainly eating non-mezonos snacks out of the Sukkah) is praiseworthy. (Shulchan Aruch w/Mishnah Berurah 639:2)
