The Eida Hachareidis of Yerushalayim has objected strongly to boxes of Telma cereal appearing with the Olympic emblem printed next to the Eida’s kashrus symbol.
The appearance of the symbol violated an agreement requiring the Eida’s authorization for graphics of all Telma products bearing its hechsher.
Telma apologized for the mistake and has produced new packaging without the offending item.

Can someone explain the problem here?
Very simple. Breach of Contract.
Get a LIFE!!!
Again the title does not match the story.
It denotes divisiveness while the story is pretty logical and acceptable!
Telma the breakfast of champions
Telma now has a bigger problem, with salmonella being found in its cornflakes, in Israel.
What was offensive about the olympic emblem?
What does the Olympic symbol on a box have anything to do with whether or not the cereal inside the box is kosher to eat?
So, they are breaking rules left and right…
Salmonella
The issue is not with the Olympic symbol, it is regarding the breach in contract…
Eida Hacheredis needs to stand up for the contract…
what if they decide to post a rainbow on their boxes next?…
