Empire State Building To Go Dark In Honor Of Florida Shooting Victims

The Empire State Building will go dark Wednesday night to honor the victims of last week’s deadly shooting at a Florida high school.

The building will be lit in darkness and its spire will display a rotating “orange halo” to honor the victims of the shooting, according to the building’s website.

  1. And what did the State of Florida do for the New Yorkers after Sep.11th? What is the symbolism of turning off the lights on a private owned building? Will that bring back the people who were killed? Seriously?
