The body of a former White House chef, who went missing a week ago, was found in New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains on Sunday night.
Walter Scheib served for a total of 11 years under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
The trail leading to the location was very steep, and rescue teams took a long time to get the body down, searchers said. His body had minor scrapes and bruises, but officials said the death looks like “an unfortunate circumstance” rather than foul play. Read more at The Washington Post.
