edward-snowden1Was Edward Snowden the only person who the National Security Agency wasn’t spying on? American intelligence and law-enforcement officials say they may never be able to fully assess how much Snowden knows-and how much damage he can do, according to The New York Times.

The NSA facility in Hawaii where Snowden was station was apparently not up-to-date with its monitoring software, and what’s more, Snowden logged into classified systems using the passwords of other employees.

“They’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of man-hours trying to reconstruct everything he has gotten, and they still don’t know all of what he took,” a senior administration official said. Adding insult to injury, many government officials first learn about a Snowden leak when a reporter calls them up for a quote. Read more at The New York Times.
