Facebook has uncovered a coordinated campaign using dozens of phony accounts apparently designed to sway political opinion on its site heading into November’s elections, a report said Tuesday.
Facebook’s internal probe uncovered the current campaign while looking into the 2016 interference, which has been linked to Russia and its Internet Research Agency, the report said.
They have yet to determine who is behind the most recent coordinated campaign attempting to put a thumb on the scales of the upcoming midterm elections, the report said.
