Northern Michigan’s Lake Superior State University today released its 43rd annual “List of Words Banished from the Queen’s English for Misuse, Overuse and General Uselessness” (via AP):

This year’s list includes “let me ask you this,” ”unpack,” ”impactful,” ”nothingburger,” ”tons,” ”dish,” ”drill down,” ”let that sink in,” and the top vote-getter, “fake news.”
The others are “pre-owned,” ”onboarding/offboarding,” ”hot water heater,” ”gig economy” and the Trumpian Twitter typo “covfefe.” Read more at AXIOS.

  1. I can hardly wait for President Trump’s new words that will drive the media crazy, I am sure he is laughing, and laughing at the fools they are. What do you want he is a New Yorker and they do have a different sense of humor and the media doesn’t get it, and that is the biggest laugh of all.
