louis-farrakhanNation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan says Moammar Gadhafi has always been a friend and he won’t distance himself from the Libyan dictator.

Farrakhan spoke Sunday at the Chicago-based organization Saviours’ Day convention.

Farrakhan didn’t talk specifics about the deadly uprisings in Libya, but the 77-year-old said no leader has been loved by 100 percent of his people.

Farrakhan also said that if Gadhafi is persecuted for crimes against humanity, the same should apply to former President George W. Bush for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Farrakhan visited Gadhafi in the 1980s and has since considered him a friend of the Nation of Islam, which espouses black nationalism.

During his four-hour speech, Farrakhan discussed historic and current events, including the group’s perspective on Scientology, severe weather and UFOs.

  1. EY YID, L’hefech. Put this guy on the record for declaring a murderer his friend. Every so often, the US Press decides that Farrakhan is “normal”. Remembering these rants is important to keep him at bay.

  2. What a pair. One is an anti-Semitic, hitler supporting clown and the other is a mass murderer. I think those two should be put on the moon and just stay there. Or maybe Mars. The moon is a little too close to the Earth for those two to be.

  3. This is what Democracy is all about. It takes all kind to make a world and as long as we have men running it this is what we’ll get.

  4. Actually, he is fully entitled to his opinion, and to hate us if he so chooses, which he does. But what we should learn from this Rasha is to disregard what others will think and to speak our minds publicly. They will continue to hate us regardless, so why should we not at least get our opinions out there without watering them down?
