FBI Head At Time Of Pollard’s Arrest Unopposed To His Release

jonathan-pollardFormer Federal Bureau of Investigation head William Webster, who headed the bureau during Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard’s arrest, told The Jerusalem Post in an exclusive interview this week that he no longer would oppose US President Barack Obama commuting his life sentence to time served.

“My job was to find spies,” he said. “At that point we did what we needed to do with the prosecution, the judge sentenced him, and he’s been incarcerated for a long time.” Read the Post report here.
