The FBI informed an aide to Attorney General Jeff Sessions that he did not need to reveal his foreign contacts that took place while he was carrying out official duties as a U.S. senator.

  1. No one has to report foreign contacts on a clearance application, if the contracts were made in the course of official government business. Those are the rules. This is not news.
