Feds Eye Christie for Punishing 3rd Mayor

Federal prosecutors are looking into another alleged case of Chris Christie punishing a mayor who didn’t endorse him, akin to what is said to have happened in Bridgegate and with the mayor of Hoboken.

Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, a Democrat, has claimed the Christie administration punished him for not endorsing Christie, a Republican, for re-election in 2013. Now feds are seeking records from Port Authority officials, including Bridgegate veterans David Wildstein and Bill Baroni. Fulop said that meetings with state officials were canceled within an hour of his decision not to back Christie. Read more at the Wall Street Journal.
