Medicare has a bit more life left in it than previously thought, thanks to Obamacare. Medicare’s financial stability is improving due to curbed payments via the Affordable Care Act and lowered spending on hospital stays, according to a report by the trustees for Medicare and Social Security. The program, which providers insurance for senior citizens, will remain sustainable until 2030, four years longer than previously expected.
The report examined finances for Social Security and found that funds will be depleted in 2033. Read more at The New York Times.
