Sen. Dianne Feinstein says the new House Select Committee on Benghazi led by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) is “ridiculous,” considering that her Senate Intelligence Committee has already investigated the 2012 attack on the U.S. mission in Libya.
“t’s ridiculous,” the Democratic Intelligence Committee chairwoman said Sunday on “State of the Union” on CNN. “It’s a hunting mission for a lynch mob actually, I think that’s what’s going on. There have been four major reports, we spent a year and a half on a report. We held hearings, thousands of pages were reviewed, the staff spent hours and weeks on it.”
The California senator also told Candy Crowley she’s confident all the necessary questions have been answered on the White House’s “talking points” in the days after the attack that killed four Americans.
“I believe they have,” she said. “Our report was bipartisan, and they were certainly answered to the satisfaction of the Intelligence Committee.”

She is right. This is a way for the Republicans to raise campaign funds.
As Chairman of the Senate “Intelligence” Committee, Senator Feinstein’s quick brush-back assessment with the back of her hand is not very “intelligent”.
So the Senate held “bipartisan” hearings and generated a report; however, do we know why these four Americans were murdered? Do we really know the circumstances that led to their death? Do we know why the White House and State Department obfuscated the truth and tried to cover their tracks? The answer is clearly “no”.
Leave it Democrats like Charlie Hall to relegate this very serious matter to petty politics. For House Republicans, this is a matter of seeking the TRUTH about what really happened at Benghazi on September 11, 2012.
Well of course, Ms. Feinstein. “What difference does it make?” What do you, the great bleeding heart Liberal, care about someone else’s child that was murdered? You and that husband of yours, have been ripping off the taxpayers for years!
DOSEN’T PELOSI REALIZE THAT NEW EVIDENCE HAS SURFACED AND THAT NECESSITATES A NEW AND MORE DETAILED INVESTIGATION?
OF COURSE SHE KNOWS……BUT SHE IS NOT INTERESTED IN TRUTH AND THEREFORE SHE LABELS THIS NEW INVESTIGATION AS “REDICULOUS”

It is the Republicans who have made this a matter of petty politics. The questions for which Gowdy claims he wants answers have been answered. This is not about truth it is about advancing partisan politics on the backs of murdered Americans.
