AFL-CIO President Richard Trumpka resigned from President Donald Trump’s manufacturing council Tuesday, the fifth executive to quit the council in two days and the first in the wake of Trump’s stunning press conference Tuesday in which he once again said “both sides” were to blame for deadly weekend violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va.
“I cannot sit on a council for a president that tolerates bigotry and domestic terrorism; I resign, effective immediately,” Trumpka said in a tweet late Tuesday. In a separate statement, he continued: “President Trump’s remarks today repudiate his forced remarks yesterday about the KKK and neo-Nazis. We must resign on behalf of America’s working people, who reject all notions of legitimacy of these bigoted groups.” Read more at Market Watch.

Good riddance. Shake the tree and the rotten apples fall off. All the rotten apples are leaving especially this socialist union leader Trumpka.
