A fire in an apartment building in Boro Park has left one woman in critical condition.
The fire started last night in an apartment on 12th Ave and 49th Street. Firefighters were able to contain the fire but not before it inflicted heavy damage on the building.
The woman was taken into the hospital for immediate care. Thirteen others, including some firefighters, required medical attention as well.
No word yet on how the fire was started.
