Rami Levy Communications, which has been operating from branches of the Rami Levy supermarket chain since 2011, became the first shomer Shabbos cellular company in Israel with the announcement that no employee of the company would work on Shabbos in any capacity.
As for a government requirement that companies be available 24/7 to cut service from lost phones, the company said it would set up a team of non-Jews to supply the service in accordance with halachah.
