First Target, Now Neiman Marcus

neiman-marcusJust days after Target announced that a security breach had affected 70 million of its customers, high-end luxury retailer Neiman Marcus said yesterday that customers’ card information had been stolen and used over the holidays.

While the company did not release the number of customers affected, it says it is working with the Secret Service on the breach.

The largest data breach in history remains the 2007 theft from TJX Cos. which saw 90 million records stolen. Read more at the Boston Globe.
