Sen. Jeff Flake says he plans to support Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination unless the FBI investigation into assault allegations against the Supreme Court nominee reveals wrongdoing.
“I’m a conservative. He’s a conservative. I plan to support him unless they turn up something — and they might,” Flake told The Atlantic for an article published Saturday.
The GOP senator’s comments came hours after he forced a weeklong FBI investigation into allegations against Kavanaugh, saying he would agree to allow Kavanaugh’s nomination to advance from the Senate Judiciary Committee if the FBI could investigate.

What a shame it has all come down to relying on Flakey Jake for his opinions. If the Republicans would of had a greater majority, they could of ignored his vote. We must make sure the Republicans add seats this November.
Flake is so weak. The lady has nothing, no one can support her story she can’t remember and details surrounding the story. You can’t take her word and ruin someone’s, just because she said something. That’s not justice.

Ooooh, too bad. Senator Flake was doing so well until at sounding reasonable until those last three words. With those three little words he discarded the presumption of innocence and implied there may well be evidence that Judge Kavanaugh lied under oath and was a drunken predator in his youth.
BTW, I like Flake, unless evidence turns up showing he’s a cannibal, serial killer, Nazi, communist, pro-slavery KKK member – which it might.
