Flatbush Rabbonim In FJCC Meeting On Community Concerns


fjccAn important meeting of Flatbush rabbonim recently took place under the auspices of the Flatbush Jewish Community Coalition, FJCC.

A full spectrum of Flatbush Rabbonim attended including from the Sephardic, Chasidishe, Yeshiva and Litvish communities to discuss common areas of concern that affect the greater Flatbush neighborhood. Councilman Chaim Deutsch, Police officials, Flatbush Hatzoloh and Flatbush Shomrim leadership addressed and interacted with the Rabbonim on several crucial issues in the first of a series of meetings.

The meeting was hosted by Rabbi Aharon Harari-Raful at Congregation Keter Torah, at Ave. L and E. 23 St.

The Rabbonim heard from Flatbush Hatzoloh Coordinator Moshe Wulliger, and veteran member Alan Esses. Representing Flatbush Shomrim was its long time Director Boruch Moskowitz, and Tzvi Weill, Coordinator.

One prominent Rov stated: “It is wonderful to join with fellow Flatbush Rabbonim to discuss and work to resolve vital communal concerns.”

This meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the FJCC to unite the rabbinical, communal and political leadership of the growing Flatbush community.
